As seen on Loverly!
Gloucester, Massachussetts • May 2014
Peonies and fisherman iconography nod to the season and location of this wedding, also offering a nice balance between masculine and feminine imagery.
Fun fact: The fisherman drawing in the toile on the envelope liner is based on a statue in the center of Gloucester memorializing the history of the town.
The two color letterpress was gate folded to reveal the information inside letting the peonies do their job on the outside.
We created a watercolor map of the historic town for the back of the reply card.
Escort cards were printed with the same toile used in the envelope liner in faint contrasting colors and strung from ribbon.
The best part! The Instagram sign uses the same fisherman, this time holding up his iPhone to snap a photo.
