Lindsay and Graham came to Shindig with a vision and a map. They had borrowed an original antique map at the Long Beach Island Museum in Beach Haven, New Jersey and wanted to feature it in their invitation suite.
Taking elements from the original map we recreated a simulated antiqued tri-fold map in order to house the cards as a folder, complete with photo corners!
The letterpress cards balanced the yellowing antiqued paper with deep blue letterpress and knocked out white type in a retro type treatment.
The outside of the folder was fitted with a brass grommet and tied with rope, then stamped with the couple's ship wheel logo.
The seaside theme was carried throughout the suite even to the language.
We created custom hot sauce labels for the couple's wedding favors.
We provided artwork from the invitation suite to the bride who made her own pins!
